HOW IT WORKS

What the engine actually does

Pillow decodes the validated image, applies EXIF orientation, and converts the result to RGB. Sources with transparency are composited onto a white background because JPEG has no alpha channel. Infinity then saves a JPEG at quality 92 with optimization and progressive encoding. The conversion changes the encoding format; it does not run AI enhancement or invent missing detail.
