Use this to add simple visible page numbers before submitting, printing, or reviewing a PDF that has no numbering of its own. You can choose a top or bottom position, centered or right-aligned by the tool's supported presets, without converting the document into Word or rebuilding the underlying page content.
What the engine actually does
The engine opens the PDF, walks the pages from one through the final page, and inserts a small text number into a bounded area near the selected edge. It then saves a new cleaned PDF. The number is an overlay added to the page; the workflow does not run OCR, rewrite existing body text, or renumber a typed table of contents for you.
